As the Laube family lived in Huron from the time the town started until last spring when they went to California for - *s health, the matter is of no littleTnter-est to our readers. The account says:In the campaign three years ago Miss Hattie Res© Laub, \ ho has been quietly living for the pest year w’ith her father on Sixth street in this city, made a number of addresses in Los Angeles and bther California cities on popular topics. At that -time her engagement to Senator Clh^k of Montana was reported. Today Mr. Laube and family remove to Los Angeles to make their home and it is said by those who know the family best that the matter was not ended with the recent announcement cf the Senator’s alleged marriage and th°re is a promise of something interesting for the future.Miss Laube was asked for an interview by an Outlook reporter today just before she left for Los Angeles but she said she preferred for the present to say nothing any further than to confirm the statement that the future was rich in promise.
