Obituary,Little Gladys, only child of Otto and An nett ie* Dobbs, died October 2, 1900, of brain fever; she was born Dec. 20, 1899, being 9 months and 5 days old at the time of her 6ad removal from her loving parents. She was a bright, sweet and affectionate child, and by her innocent and loving | disposition gained the affection of all with whom she was brought in contact during her short stay in this world. How we listen for thy sweet words, that are hushed forever, but we know we will hear them agaiu when He welcomes us on the other shore. While we grieve at the vacancy left in our hearts and home, yet if we could we would say, not our will but Thine be done, O Lord. Funeral services were held at New Providence Church, Wednesday, Oct. 3. 1900, conducted by Elder Marjon Hurst, after which she was laid to rest in the cemetery.
