Fa»t Traveling.Mr. Wm. H. Prendergnst, an engineer on tbe Central railroad, made a remarkable mn last Friday. lie is in charge of No. 134, an engine made in tbe Central shops, by Mr. D. D. Arden, the master of machinery, and one of the beat that over atennied over the rails of the corporation. On Friday he was somewhat behind by reason of a mishap, and to make np time he let No. 131 out for all she was worth. Ho made the unprecedented time on that road of 75 miles in ninety minutes, making two atojsi and three hIowh up. He reached Savannah on schedule time all right, however, and brought hie charge iu safely.- -Savannah Times.
