John Edward Cain, 25, of Brooks ton Rural Route 1, was badly injur ed Saturday morning about 7:30 o’ clock while working on the farm of his brother, Joe Cain, at Round Grove. His left hand was badly mangl ed in a cornpicker and he was taken to St. Elizabeth hospital at Lafayette, where an operation for the amputa tion of the hand was performed.
