A fine second wicket partnership by HL Hart and a newcomer Dave Jacobs produced 123 runs. Both boys batted particularly well. After a shaky start Jacobs settled down to give a chanceless exhibition for T1 which in cluded 11 fours. Hart hit hard and con tinued to show his batting form by scoring 61 (8 fours). Once again Jock Livingston passed the half century with a soundly made 54, eventually being dis missed when attempting to emulate his brother Vic, who hit 5 fours in his score of 22. Neville Smith then flog ged the tired bowling and scored 40 in very smort time. The Kadimah bowlers never let up and pegged away with greatheart. The fielding was also good, neat catches dismissing most of the batsmen, Lou Levy, M. Cohen and Bogan worked exceptionally hard, but this strong batting team took toll of all that way before them.
