Camp Owners Gather In Profitable Meeting At Coolidge GroveThe annual meeting of the California Auto Camp Owners association, which was held at Coolidge park last week, is declared the most successful and the most largely attended of any meeting in the association’s history, from the standpoint of attendance and the amount of constructive work accomplished. The attendance was well over the 100 mark, with a delegation from the Oregon Motor Court association present.Addresses were made by Ed Brown of the California Housing commission, who represented the governor. The address of welcome was delivered by Judge W. P. Whitney of Willits, as representative of the Redwood Empire. Frank Winden of the Hiway Auto Court of San Jose was elected president.Dr. and Mrs. S. O. Coolidge presented the association with a large redwood tree, which was dedicated with appropriate ceremonies Friday afternoon, B. W. Blanchard of San Jose and Judge Whitney of Willits making the dedicatory talks. The 1935 session will be held in Los Angeles.
