Mr Otto united with the Baptist t church at tho age of 21 years, and continued his mrrnberdilp In that church during his entire mo. He was a loving husband and devoted father, and tried earnestly to Jive a life of rectitude He won und kept the esteem of many friends, all of whom join in a feeling of loss in his death For many yearn Mr Otto was an official m t nnnwdle, where he lived with his family until several years, ago, when the) moved to Oulncy Jfo served as Street Commissioner, and \ was an able and efTit lent public ser- vant, IThe funernl was held at the home i in Quinc, Illinois, after which the \ body was brought to tho Thompson cemetery, east of \ nionville. Following a short service at the grave by an old friend ami neighbor, K J McKinley, the body was interred in tho presence of many sorrowing relatives and friends
