CAPT. HARRY A. SIMMONS C. A. D. C.An only son of Dr. H. S. Simmons, of Pernie, B.C., Capt. Harry A. Simmons, of the Canadian Army Dental Corps, is now at Bramshott, England. He left Victoria as a lieutenant last April and has since been promoted. He was born at Fredericton, New Brunswick, and as a boy went to school in Greenwood, where his father was practising dentistry for some years. After leaving Greenwood, Capt. Simmons attended high school in Vancouver and in 1911 graduated from Toronto University, practising in the terminal city until war was declared. When asked by the Mentioner what he intended to do with his practise, he said: ‘Tve just turned the key in the door and walked out; when I get back PH just give the key another turn and walk in again.”
