The interests under-| 1took to run the affairs of government, and have succeeded in recent years in electing men to office who regard public office as a private snap, and act as though they were masters instead of servants of the people; and to hedge against these unworthy public servants, the people are demanding! the initiative, referendum and recall. Capital is responsible for every labor union now in existence, and will likewise be responsible for every referendum and recall law that is written into law.
