His tarm. which consists ot nearly one thousand acres, was settled upon in the year 1865, and is his choice of the many linelocations on the West Gallatin river.East cf Mr. Anceny is the home ot Henry Heeh, an early settler and one of the wealthiest I: rmers on the river. Ilis home is situated near the center of liis land, which comprises about one thousand acres in one body. It lies between two branches ot the river, is surrounded by timber, and is one. ol the most conveniently situated places for stock raising ot any 1 have seen. As a cattle raiser he is one ol the foremost in Gallatin valley, and as a raiser of horses lie has lew it any superiors. Daws, a prosperous farmer. who*e pleasant home on the east bank ot the river it Is always a pleasure io visit. 1 regret that business matters required me to postpone a promised call.Adjoining the last named gentleman is the fine tarm of S. H. Murray. Besides farming and cattle-raising. Mr. M. is engaged in dairying. Ho lias » large dairy herd and improved dairy appliances, which enables lum to have ri handsome income outside of his crop yields. The N. P. Kail road passes through one ol hia farms.
