The VFW Junior Girls Unit met Tuesday at the VFW hall for a 50's party. Everyone dressed in the style of the 1950's and joined in the dances of those years. At the brief meeting, the Americandism project, the cleaning of Todd Park, was scheduled for spring. Several girls volunteered to serve at the veterans party, Dec. 4. They are Bonnie Jensen, Becki Wilson, Annette Schroeder, Kathy Johnson, Kaye Klinger, Cindy Flanders, Dawn Butler, Jeannie Haptson. Mrs. Charles Butler, VFW Auxiliary junior vice president, asked the girls to present a skit at the Christmas party for children, Dec. 15. A travellers banquet will be held Oct. 20, and Kathy Wilson, Annette Schroeder, Kathy Johnson, Dawn Butler, Kaye Klinger, Bev Miller, Bonnie Jensen and Becki Wilson will serve.
