Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday in the Run.gc chapel for Chester T, Alexander, 63, of 1220 Brady St., Davenport, who died Sunday in St. Luke's hospital after a four-mor.th illness. Burial will be in Pine Hill cemetery,Mr. Alexander was bom near Jacksonville, Texas, April 21, 3902 and attended schools there. He married Esther Hampton in California in 1930 and came to Davenport hi 3939. He was a member of the Construction Workers Union, Local No. 309 AFL.Survivors include his wife: a daughter, Cherie Shelton, California; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Alexander, Dallas, Texas: three sisters, Miss Eva Alexander, Dallas, Mrs. Ophal PeJrcc, Fort Worth and Mrs. Lulu Gilmore, Jacksonville a brother, Hugh, Long View. Texas; two step-daughters, Mrs.Louise And resen, Davenport, and Mrs. Gwendolyn Swanson, Ottumwa and seven grandchildren.
