WALDRON BAPTIST CHURCH WILL HAVE ALL DAY OMR COM ING THIS SUNDAY. PROGRAM IS VERY UNUSUAL (Special Correspondent) WALDRON, Ind. Oct. 11—Able day is anticipated by the members of the Waldron Baptist church for next Sunday. The annual Home Coming for smembers and friends and old members who have moved elsewhere is to be ob served for which the morning services will be specially arranged. Special mu sic is to be a big feature of the pro gram and an out of town speaker has been invited. At least 200 are expect ed at Sunday school. In the afternoon and evening the B. ¥.P. 0. will conduct their big ral ly. As this union numbers 118, and sixteen neighboring unions have been invited to be present, a very large crowd is anticipated. At least 400 are being prepared for. Miss Alma Acra is their president, who, assisted by her council, is preparing a very elab orate program for both services. The visiting unions are also to contrib utute special numbers. _ The new community hall has been considerately offered to the church where dinner will be served after the morning, services, and also supper in the evening. There will be plenty for all, so do not go home for dinner, but come there with the crowd. The forenoon program will begin at 9:15 o'clock in the church, with the regular session of the Sunday school. Morning worship will be at 10:30, with special music bby the orchestra and special numbers by Individuals. A fea ture will be a welcome address by an out of town speaker. At noon, In the community“ ha). dinner will be serv ed, AS 10.80, at the church, a special Program will be given with @ devotion al service, the lealer being from Shel byville. Supper will be served In the community hall at five o'clock. The’ evening program at the church, will shop in at 6:40 o'clock. This will in' ‘e be an address by an ant of town’ speaker. The public is invited. POLO GROUNDS, NY. Oct. 11— The Yankees came back like a bad check today and wop the second of the world’s series games with the Giants, by a score of 440 2. The Ser ies now stands even, with one game to the credit of each team. “Babe” Ruth's two home run drives form the margin ,by which victory came to his team. Ruth clouted one t that landed on top of the right field stand in the fourth inning, and in the gtth hit another that went into the stand. One was gathered off McQuil lan and the other was made off Jack Bentley. Four of the six runs made during the game were circuit clouts. Ruth ‘grabbed the honors with two, and Ward of the Yankees and E. Meusel of the Giants made the others. Penncelo on the mound for the Yanks, carve balled the Giants silly. They gathered nine hits off of his de livery but were nodve to bunch them when they were decided. The crowd was estimated at more than 45,000. McQuillan started in the box for the Giants, but was taken out in the fourth. Bentley fnished. Pennock went the route for the Yanks. Schang caught for the Yanks, with Snyder doing the revolving for the Giants. First Inning. Yanks—Witt was out. Frisch to Kelly. Dugan walked. Both walked. The big crowd booed McQuillan for walking the home-run king. Ro Meusel hit Into a double play with Dugan, Bancroft to Kelly. No runs, no hits, no errors. Giants—Bancroft was thrown out, Scott to Pipp, Grob out, Pennock to Pipp. Frisch out, Ward to Pipp, am a hard hit ball. No runs, no hits, no errors. Second Inning. Yanke—Pipp out, Grab to Kelly, Ward slammed a home run into the left fell stands. Schang fouled out to Snyder. Scott flied to Meusel. One run, one hit, no errors. Giants—Young popped to Dugan E. Meusel hit field a home run drive In to the left field stands, almost In the same spot as Ward's. Cunningham flies to Ruth. Kelly singled over second. Snyder popped to Ward.
