Charles E. Youngblood, a serving route 1 as a rural carrier out of the Veedersburg post office had a narrow escape from a possible serious injury and having his car completely demol ished, when it slipped off the road and barely stopped on the edge of a 15- foot embankment near the overhead bridge south of Veedersburg Tuesday. The car stuck in the soft dirt beside the road and was so close to the edge of the steep embankment that Mr. Youngblood left it to be pulled out by a truck and finished his trip in an other car.
