Readers of the INFORMER no; doubt were disappointed when they 1 did not receive the paper last month. A word of explanation is due them. Because of the large amount of extra work which evolved on the members •f the Monroe Ministerial Association. for the past several weeks, it was impossible to compile an issue for the past month, therefore we combine the September a Ad October issue in No. 8. It is the puipose of the association to be regular and prompt with every issue and not disappoint the readers.\pPf?FO 4TTON,The Monroe Ministerial Associauon is pleased with the ever increasing favorable attitude of the community'jtowards the INFORMER. Those who thoi that the INFORMER was to be) but a scandal monger and thus injure the good name of our beautiful city are beginning to realize the wholesome influence of information and agi- j tation along the lines of civic and social reform. It shall ever be the purpose of the INFORMER to keep be-Xoie tin; community the moral and civic questions which concern the civilization of today.
