DiedPhebe Hatfield, mother of L. D.Hatfield, Esq., of Eoss township, who las been confined to her bed for the oast two years, died at the residence of L D. Hatfield on Tuesday, October )tb, at five o’clock, p. m. She has received the kindest care and attention it the hands of Mr. and Mrs. Hatfield ind her grand children during her long llness, and her every want had been supplied. She met death with eompos-ire and fell asleep in Christ, in whose second coming and the resurection of ;he dead she was a firm believer. 3lie leaves a large number of relatives md friends to mourn her loss.
