They live at Bellaire and both are teachers. He is a son of the late Wylie WatLs and wife, Mollie Hassell Watts, who lived in this community for many years My Watts grandparents were brother and sister to Harmon Watts' grandparents Our grandmothers were Lively sisters, Matilda and Elizabeth, grandfathers were Frank and William Worth (Bill) Watts. Harmon Watts' grandmother, Matilda Caroline Lively Watts, was the first born child of John Wesley Livelly and Rebecca Bathsheba Murdock Lively My grandmother, Elizabeth Priscilla Lively Watts was the 3rd born child. She was named for her grandmother, Elizabeth Lively, wife of John Lively (1780).The first four children of the John Wesley Livelys’ were born in Walker County, Georgia They were: Matilda,Joseph lafayette, Elizabeth and John Thomas The six other children were born in Texas Aunt Sarah Jane, who married William (Uncle Bill) Burke, was the first born in Texas in 1853 So the John Wesley Lively family came to Texas after 1850 but before 1853, according to the family birth records Forest Hill Plantation in Alto is having Open House the next two weekends 1-6 p.m on October 12-13 and October 19-20. This will be the eighth annual showing of the old home of Captain Henry Berryman and wife, Helena Dill Berryman, the first child born in Texas of American parents It was built in 1847 and is located five miles northeast of Alto A delicious East Texas meal will be served each day from 12 noon until 2:30 with chicken and dressing and all the trimmings for $3 00 Plan to go If nothing happens, we will Ik* in Dallas next Monday, October 14, at the Dallas Fair for the Family Land Heritage festivities; and to receive the plaque which will be awarded for the ‘‘First Family” in Anderson County There will be I4oo participants, according to John C.
