Then an in complete pass before Conners again found Stoker for a 6 yard pass, a pass complete to Davis was nullified for the Eagles as they drew a 15 yd. penalty. The Eagles punted and Myers carried for 4 yards before he was brought down.Carl picked up 2, Baker 6, Tony 2, Carl 11, an incomplete pass, Baker 5, then Tony ambled 35 yards to reach paydirt for the Hawks as the second quarter hadthey got two first downs in two plays before the Hawks recovered their fumble on the Eagle 25. With Dan Sadler now taking over the Hawk quarterbacking and the Hawks getting a 5 yd penalty the Hawks attempted three passes, Sadler to Brown, picking up 9 yards and the first down. A Sadler pass was in tercepted by Sims on theEagle 5 yard line. Aftersome wild passing by the Eagles, the ball went over on the Hawk 40.
