BROWNSVILLE — Plans for theyear’s work were outlined at the Thursday afternoon meeting of theParent-Teacher association of thejunior high and high school. Presid- j mg at the session was Mrs. R. T i McMinn, president. iThe unit will assist in the reorganisation of the school band. A committee composed of Mrs. B M.Works and Mrs. J. H. Batseii wasappointed to work with Miss LinnaMontes Crown, the instructor and E. C. Dodd, superintendent. !Reixirt oT the treasurer was givenand report of the student loan fundwas read by Mrs. S. C. Tucker. The lat er report showed the splendidwork being done by the group in charge and made special mention , of the gift of a dollars to the fund by the senior class of 1937.The yard committee was given an allowance Tor the upkeep of schoolyards. IMrs. Batsell announced an interesting program and tea is scheduled for the November meet mg.During the program. Miss Crow gave a trumpet solo accompanied at the piano by Miss Iva Blanche Dit tmann.Mrs McMinn expressed her appreciation for the particularly large attendance. *
