Governor Tillman sent for TrialJustice Stack to como forthwith to his ofllce. Mr. Stack was busy at tho time, but later went there with Trial Justice Clarkson, who had previously declined to issuo a warrant in tho case.Governor Tillman said that ho did not want tho idea to got out that for*'ignore did not recoive justice hero anti demanded that tho “doctor” bo rourrostcd. Upon these orders Trial Justice Sluck issued anew warrant and the case is now in tho hands of Solicitor Nelson, Davis having waived an exam i nation. There is no now evidence or facts since tho case was first dismissed by tho trial justice.It is said that Governor Tillman made it plain that if the negro was not roar rested tho trial justice would bo dismissed.
