Philosopher Platts Visit HereStaff ComapoBtfntLONDON, Oct. 8.—The British philosopher, mathematician, author and lecturer, Bertrand Russell (Lord Russell) will almost certainly make a lecture tour of Australia in a little less than a year.A six weeks* tour with lectures in all States is proposed.Bertrand Russell, one of the most famous of living philosophers, prefers not to use his title.He said at his home at Pem-ralltgoch. North Wales: “I am very keen on the idea of visiting Australia.In Sydney yesterday persons organising the* lecture tour said they had regarded the proposal as still on the secret list.The invitation had originated from universities in Australia and the Australian Institute of International Affairs.
