Our correspondent _wrikes —While on leave front the A.LF. Pyte, Bob Trezise, son of My and Mrs W. Tre zis, of this district, was entertained by his many friends at the church lal. A program of games was contacted by Miss Stanway, and Messrs Rand , M. Ward, and A. J. Berren. Music weas supplied by Mrs Bartle and Miss Thomas. A competition was won by Mrs 2. Ward, an Mr T. Statway, who was in charge, spoke feelingly of the guest and spoke of his association with Sunday school, day school and church, and extolled of many good qualities. In present ing him with a wallet, he hoped that the snail memento would help, to re wind hint of youthful days. With a few sloppy sentences Pote,Trezise re sponded. The guest, of the evening happily en tertained with his banjo, and assisted his sister and brother, gave a sélec tion or two which were well received. Mr Thos. Rodda alw took the op portunity of introducing and entertains ing Pris. Doug, Kemp, also of the ALP. He spoke mainly of Pyte, Kemp’s parents’ association with the district, and made a presentation, Supper brought to a close a happy iespreut.
