Begin your preparation at least a week in advance. Two weeks’ time is better. 2. Prepare a talk from three to five minutes long. Get your material for this talk in the watch word, Telescope, Endeavor or World and the Daily Bible Readings for the week, and shape it into a talk which is your own. That is much better than reading a leaders talk which is your own.That is much better than reading a leaders talk from some paper. In Endeavor Hearn to be a talker rather then a ‘reader. It will make you strong in every way. 3. Give out your questions and topics before hand, so the members will have time to prepare for tak ing part. Give out some Scripture passages to be read and commented upon with practical lessons men tioned. 4. The leader should offer a prayer of at least one sentence and then ask others to do the same. There should be plenty of prayer in every meeting. Each and every Endeavorer should learn to pray in public. It adds to one’s hap piness and usefulness and efficiency in Church work.
