JAMES H. JONESJames H. Jones of Mountain Home, Ark., a former resident of Homewood until 1978, died Thursday, October 1, at his home.Services were Monday at St. Peter the Fisherman's Catholic church. Burial was in St. Benedict’s cemetery in Crestwood.Mr. Jones was born August 1, 1917, in Harvey, and was a retired tool and die maker for Ford motor company in Chicago Heights. He was a 1935 graduate of Streator Community high school, and served with the armed forces during World War II and the Korean conflict from 1950-51. He was a member of Mountain Home Elks lodge and American Legion Post 8 at Wenona, 111.He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Robert of El Paso, Texas, and Scott of Homewood; one sister, Dolores Giobbi of Chicago Heights and two grandsons.
