Charles LawlissCharles A. Lawliss, 89, of Lynnwood. Member Edmonds Masonic Lodge No. 165 F. A.M. Ruling elder and clerk of session of The Greenwood Presbyterian Church for many years. Member of Edmonds United Methodist Church where he was president of the Golden Years Club for five years. A retired accountant and occupational analyst, he was active in his church and the community. Preceded death by his son Charles A. Lawliss Jr. who was the inspiration for his father's activities to establish schooling for handicapped children in the state of Washington public schools. He was also instrumental in establishing the Easter Seals in this state.Survived by loving wife. Blythe; daughters, Marion and Kathryn Lawliss; adopted Korean daughters Rose Marie, Kimberly and Ginger; nieces and newphews from New England area. Services at Edmonds United Methodist Church.
