Obituary: Maria E. SquireMaria E. Squier, a longtime resident of Coral vil le, died Thursday, Sept. 27 after a long illness. She was 78. Private family graveside services, held at Memory Gardens Cemetery.Mrs. Squier was born Feb. 11, 1907, in Chipaham, England, a daughter of Walter and Edith Watts Downing. She married Kenneth A. Squier in Valley Junction. She retired from Westinghouse Learning Corporation after 25 years. She was a charter member of the Coralville United Methodist Church.Sur vi\/f\i*c inrlnWua daughter, Carolyn (Mrs. G. Edward) Wainwright of Solon: a son, H. Alan of Algona; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a sister, Nora Rivett of Nebraska City, Neb. Her husband, a son, a grandson, a great granddaughter and a sister died earlier.
