SOUTH PORTLAND - Defending state cross country champ South Portland topped Morse and Biddeford in South Portland Friday afternoon in a triangular meet.The Red Riots finished with 26, Morse 30, and Biddeford 73 in the stiff competition Morse was runner up to South Portland last year.The record run for the 2.7 mile course is currently held by Joe Belyea who finished it in 12:59. Belyea is now running at Maryland University.But no one touched Belyea’s record in yesterday’s meet.
