Complete Arrangements For Quota Club ConclaveDelegates from Jen clubs in the Seventh district of Quota Clubs International, Inc., will be in Davenport fov the annual district conference Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Oct. 14. 15 and 16.Sessions will be held ai Hotel Blackhawk. beginning with a mixer and social hour Friday night in 1hc Empire room. Mrs. Hazel • Slede. Sioux Cily. district governor, will preside at the president's advisory council breakfast Saturday morning.Mrs. Irvin Thomas, Davenport Quota club president, and Miss Mabel Wickham, representing the Past Presidents' club, will be delegates from the Davenport unit.The district includes clubs in Davcnpoti. Cedar Rapids. Dos Moines, Waterloo. Ottumwa, Council Bluffs and Sioux City. Iowa, and Omaha. Lincoln and McCook. Neb.Mayor Walter Beusc will give the address of welcome at the opening of the business session. Miss Ina Wickham, Davenport, a past governor of the disriet, will give the greeting from the local club and the invocation will be by Miss Mary Strohbchn, Davenport.The noon luncheon is sponsored by the Past President’s club of the local club with Miss Mabel Wickham chairman. Mrs. Ann Lanliner, Dos Moines, an honorary member of the Davenport club, will speak on Living Is Fun.”The afternoon session will begin at 2:30 with reports of committees and election of officers scheduled.The formal dinner Saturday night will be in the Gold Room. The invocation will be by Rev. Evelyn Diedrich, Davenport andMKS. STEELEihe installation will be conducted by Miss Ethel Hedenberg, Sioux City, a past governor of the district.Mrs. Luella Canterbury, Chicago. will talk on Think and Live at the Saturday evening dinner.A brunch at Johnny Hartman's at 9:30 Sunday morning will conclude the conference.Marriage AnnouncedAnnouncement has been made of the marriage of Miss Viola McCoy. 624 Main Si., and Richard Dean Allen, SWIa Main St. Vows were spoken Sept. 29 in the home of the Rev. Ralph E. McCaullcy. Davenport. The newlyweds are residing at 1826 W. 4th St.
