Glenn Miller, Petersburg coal min er, died Tuesday afternoon at 2:05 o’clock in the Daviess county hospit al at Washington, following an ap pendicitis operation. The body was returned to Peters burg, the funeral service being hel Thursday aftet ‘the Glenn Miller was a son of Martin and Mary Beck Miller. He was born in this county May 24, 1903 and had reached the age of 34,years, 4 men’ and 11 days. His early life. She is with two sons, Glenn, age Forrest Lee age 5. He is brothers, Gus chief of police and Lou Miller of Glezen, three sisters, Mrs. Owen Mil ler, Mrs. W. H. Risley and Mrs. Wil liam Coleman, all of Petersburg. Mr. Miller was a good citizen and ted throughout the city where he had spent his life. He was a mem ber of the Mission church.
