Keota, Iowa, Sept. 2, 1921.Dear : I want to tell you that 1 appreciate more than,words can express what the Lyceum has done and is doing for me. It certainly brings us back to first love and sends us out as missionaries heralding the truth, and nothing but the truth.As never before 1 have come to believe with Dr. W illiams, that Chiropractic is undefinabie; that we are merely laying the foundation for the inception of the mighty truth in the earth. Yes, we have only begun to scratch the surface.How valuable to us in the field that we extend our vision! How necessary that we visualize ourselves us partakers of the life more abundant! Especially do I wish to thank you and Mabel for securing able and wise men like Napoleon Hill, Sheldon, Williams, Griffith Jones, etc. Neither can we leave out God in our appreciations, for it is He that permits of these good things.Napoleon Hill's keynote of confidence, confidence rightly placed in man, is fine; it is elevating if based right. Confidence towards God and man draws the best out of us and makes it easier for the other fellow to do right if he wants to. The Golden Hide has for its basis the Christian Religion, which, if lived, not onlytakes uscauses us to■give our em*lines ato pray for those who despitefully use us. W e are delighted toactors who attended theknow that such a good number of chi Lyceum were hungry for the best there is for them. Many were sorry they had digressed from the way, some are born again and now' are new creatures, while others are reclaimed.Now I am more and more convinced that God not only reignsoveristoday. Sometimes He permits persecution to come upon us. Who can say that it is not for our good? The fact that it is for ourmanifest atby egood was already e tlie Lyceum.1 am thinking that progress in the advancement of truth in tiie earth will depend not only on the tolerance of Christians in the earth to accept the principles of Chiropractic, and all that is ennobling and uplifting, but also on the Christianizing of the peoples of the earth. Confidence may contribute much to this end. Present day Christianity contributes much. It is said that every good movement in the earth was purest at its source, including the Christian Religion. No one dare say this is God's will. Nevertheless, we may say of the Christian Religion it enables more people to know' God and to be morally influenced for good now than ever before in the world’s history.
