Iviioepiier He ^vas sick only three days withpneumonia. .Mr. Guridry was born Jan. 8, 186\)t in Cornwall, England. He was ..marriedto Ehza J. Chatten and to this union two children were born. He came to this country in 1SG4, settling in Michigan, where he worked for the Calumet6 Heclu Co., for 25 years. His wife died in 1S95, after which his widowed daughter, Mrs; Ellen J. KingBton, -Keptthe home for • him. She died in 1899,and since then Mr. Gundvy has made his homo with', his daughter, Mrs. Emma Knoepflcr.' The funeral was held from the Knoet-ler home Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, conducted by llev. G. H« Birncy and assisted bv Rev. J, E. Snowden. 1 he burial was at Forest Hill cemetery, Houghton, Mich., beside his wife.
