The Show*.The last of tne shows arrived at 6 o’clock Tuesday evening and was set up on West Broadway, just south of the court house yesterday and is known as De Kreko Bros.’ “Streets of Cairo.” The show is a miniature reproduction of the streets of Cairo as seen at the World’s Columbian Exposition at Chicago and carries camels, donkes, etc. There are 32 people connected with the shew and they are the original bunch brought over by the World’s Fair commissioners. They come highly recommended by press and public and are said to be the best, cleanest and most refined oriential traveling aggregation in America today. The company come here from one of the big summer gardens of St. Louis. They opened their doors yesterday p. m. to larger crowds.Jesmore’s “Visions of the Robe” enjoyed a nice business Tuesday considering the weather and the last show given at 10:30 that night was to a packed tent.The Peoria Firemen’s “Fire Pictures” drew the most favorable comments from all who witnessed Tuesday’s performances and many stopped and complimented the gentleman in charge of the exhibition.Lunette,“The Flying Lady,” was a big attraction Tuesday and nothing that can be said of the show would bq-gin to describe it, as one must see it to appreciate its worth.
