Mrs. Fred Babes and son, Freddie, have received notice to be at Fort Lawton, Washington, on October 21, where they are to board a ship for Japan. In Tokyo, they will join Captain Fred Babes, former E. O. D. officer who has h been on army duty in Geisha Land since last December. Among other localites in Tokyo are Esther Kerr Lucas and her family, and Miss Anna Rose Reamsnider. Mrs. Babes’ father, Harold Wesley, will travel to Fort Lawton with her and the baby, and plans to wave “bon voyage” from the pier. Marian and her son will spend 18 months in Japan, as Captain Babes' tour of duty will be completed by then.— jot —
