October 4 .when Mr. Jenkins, consulting engineer for the Consumers company, gave a cue hour illustrated talk on the manner in which the blasting is beinglbAii-dled in the Consumers’ Hillside quarry.Mr. Jenkins who is a seismograph expert and who represents over forty quarries throughout the ccttntfcy, opened his talk by stating that the quarry will be in operaion for miny years since .there is foreseeable rstde for approximately 4€0 more ycsiy.
