Oxford, Oft. 7.— Properties,' cash and bonds valued at one1 million dollars pass to the village j of Oxford as a result of the death of Mis* Daisy McCullough, age i 74, daughter of the first white child born here. iMiss McCullough, last member of one of the oldest and wealthiest Oxford families, died Friday following a heart attack. Services were conducted Monday afternoon.By the will of her late sister, Mrs. Fletcher S. Heath, the family’s holdings were to go to the village upon Miss McCulloughs death. Miss McCullough held a life interest. iShould the village not accept the bequests, the will directed, the estate passes to Berea college, Berea, Kv.,The will provided for erection of a hospital on the site of the family home, which was built in 1938, and for perpetual maintenance of a charity ward.Miss McCulloughs father, Thomas, was Oxfords first white child and became the villages first banker. He died in 1901.
