Mrs. Fred Holmes arrived at Carroll late Saturday evening: on her return from her Western trip. She has spent the past four weeks visiting her mother, Mrs. Louisa Koon, and her sister, Mis® Ina Koon, at Salem, Oregon, a sister, Mrs. H. L. Handler at Vallejo, Cal., and a brother, L. A. Koon at Whittier, Cal., also a cousin at Hollywood and nieces and neph-| ews at Santa Ana, Santa Barbara and other points. She was met at Carroll by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Green.
