Charles Hoesman, 78Charles E. Hoesman, 78, of R. 1, Knightstown, died early Wednesday morning, Sept. 27, 1989 in Hancock Memorial Hospital in Greenfield.Bom Dec. 15. 1910 in Illinois, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Hoesman. He was married to Conza Mae Benefiel, who died Sept. 15. 1972. He was a retired truck driver, having worked for D.W. Drake Produce in Terre Haute.Survivors include one son. Buddy of Houston, Texas; two daughters. Judy Barnes of Knightstown, and Marlene Hodges of Lynchburg, Virginia; three brothers, Robert and Henry, both of Sullivan, and Estel of Terre Haute; three sisters, Mary Andrews of Merom, Indiana, Nellie Cooper of West Terre Haute, and Helen Steele of Plainfield; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
