Shot Is Fatal To Troy SmithPreparations for a deer hunting ! trip he expected to begin yesterday I ended tragically for Troy Smith, 50 year old two term speaker of the Idaho house of representatives and a former resident of Otter-! ville.He was instantly killed' Wednes-! day night at his home in Maekay, Idaho, when a 12 guage shotgun he was holding discharged accidently into his abdomen.Mr. Smith, 50 years old, was born and reared on a farm four miles southwest of Otterville, and had lived in Idaho twenty-six years. A brother, Leo Smith, cf Otterville, left Wednesday night1 for Mackay.Surviving Mr. Smith are his mother, Mrs. Sallie Smith and1 brother, Leo Smith, both of Otterville, a sister, Mrs. Ruth Floyd, I Bunceton, brother, Luckett'Smith, j Honeywell, Kas„ and two sisters, Mrs. Laura Garey, Oklanoma City, Okla., and Mrs. A. R. Mettiott of Sherrill, Ark.
