Mr.Election of Officer*.Bank of A mericus stockholders held their annual meeting yesterday at Bank oflice and elected the following directors to serve for another year: 8. K. Taylor, 8. H. Hawkins, G. W. Glover, J. 0. Ro ney, T. Wheatley, J. W. Sheffield, S. Montgomery, H. C. Bagley and J. E. D. Shipp. All of these are old directors except Judge S. Montgomery, who went out ot the Bank a few years ago and now gees back to the bank with his life long friend, Col. S- H. Hawkins. Stockholders on every hand expressed their approbation or progress and business done by the bank for the present year, as its earnings and collections are much greater than any previous yeai within the bis tory of the institution.At a subsequent, meeting of directors Wednesday evening Col. 8.H Hawkins was elected President, J. E. D. Shipp Vdce-Prcsident, H. C. Bagley Caihier, and W. E.
