Red Feidler, Jerry8th Annual Waldhutte Stag This WeekendThe 8th annual Waldhutte Stag will be held today,Saturday and Sunday at the camp of Ted Lorz, Star Route 2,Sheffield, according to Michael Lorz, chairman.Waldhutte Stag derives its name from the German name of Ted Lorz’s cabin, “House in the Woods.”The affair is an autumn tradition for the Lorz family and is always scheduled when Pennsylvania trees are most colorful.This year’s stag will be attended by 30 men, coming from Meadville, Pa.; Columbus,Youngstown, Cleveland and Carrollton, Ohio; Syracuse and Katonah, N. Y., Louisville, Kv.;St. Louis, Mo.; Berrington, Des Plaines and Chicago, 111.;Carefree, Ariz.; Palos Verdes Estates, Calif, and from SheffieldEvents planned for Friday through Sunday include volley ball, horse shoe pitching, choral sing, fishing, boating and a Saturday evening variety show The men will tour Kinzua Dam and its environments, go to Jake’s Rocks and take an extended hike through the extensive Allegheny National Forest.Meyer (of Emporium), John Johnson and Bud Jones of Bell Telephone.Many other club members as well as some parents also helped. Because of the large turnout of young people to take the'course, club officers are considering running two courses next year.Those graduating received a certificate and jacket patch.An archery’ hunter underwent surgery at Kane Community Hospital Wednesday for injuries received when he fell from a tree in the Sackett area Tuesday Edward Lilly, 25, of Shady Springs, W. Va., was found by a friend, Andy Perry, at 6:10 p.m. in an unconscious condition and rushed to the hospital He was reported to have regained consciousness more than an hour after being hospitalized The accident victim is an employe of the Dept, of Welfare in Raleigh County, W.
