Bureau of Land Management as it distributes litterbags to users of the BLM-administered lands thruout Utah. Robert D. Nielson, BLM state director for Utah, said the litterbags are available from BLM district offices in Cedar City, Fill-more. Kanab. Monticello, Price. Richfield, Salt Lake City and Vernal.The colorful 13x17 inch plastic litterbags are intended for use both in traveling and camping in public land areas. Mr. Nielson noted that BLM is providing the litterbags Lii a cooperative effort to keep America beautiful.“Everyone should set a good example for others by picking up all litter they find. .and. leaving an area at least as clean as it was* when, they ar-, lived in it. Mr Nielson said.Five suggestions listed on back of the litterbag are: Be considerate of the rights of others at all times; preventwild fires: be safely conscious continually: keep vehicles on established roads (wheel ruts can start erosion); and protect all public and private properly.“Earn the appreciation of future generations by your good outdoor manners today.” is another reminder on the BLM litterbag:?.Accidents don't just happen —they are caused!
