_ The annual meeting of the Con cord Chapter of the American Red Cross was held Tuesday September 27th. The following reports were tread: Treasurer, financial, Secre tary, Home Sevice,Production, RoW Call, Publicity, Swimming, Acton and Lexington Branches. Af ter the reports were read a round table discussion followed and plans were made for the coming year. Election of officers was held; Wal ter K. Shaw was a re-elected chair man; Henry Lamont of ‘Lexi vice chairman, Miss Mary Chamber lain Secretary, and Mrs. Rodney Pratt Treasurer. Executive Board Mr. Merriam of Lexington, Chilton Cabot, Marvin Taylor, Mrs. Ross K itteh, and Russell Robb Jr, Mrs. Chas. Cowle was elected chairman of the Nursing committee Miss Elizabeth Alexander. of Home Service, Mrs. William Bartlett of ‘Production, Miss Elizabeth Bren nan of Publicity, ‘Mrs. Herbert B. Hosmer of Roll Call, and Mrs. Fred erick Wurtz’ of Junior Red Cross taking the place of Mrs. Ross Whit on who resigned, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Mulvey of Elm street have been entertaining Mr. Mulvey’s mother the past week, fined to his home through illness Mr. James Nagle, has been con the past few days. The Harvest Supper of the Ladies Union of the West Concord Union Church has been postponed until October thirteenth. Mr. Henry Hawley is driving, a new Buick Sedan, Mrs. Harry. Carroll was called to Lincoln by the illness of her mother last Saturday. Harold Hall‘ and John Palmer have opened a new lunch cart on Main street. Frank Pickard C.
