WELL KNOWN WOMAN DIES AF TER BEING INVALID FOR TWENTY-FIVE YEARS. WIDOW OF DR. RAGSDALE Mrs. Harriet P. Ragsdale, widow of Dr. Mark H. Ragsdale, passed away at her home in Glendale at 8:45 Tuesday evening after an ill ness of years. Mrs. Ragsdale suf fered from liver and kidney disease and had been practically an invalid for fully twenty-five years. Her death had been expected daily al most all this summer, her children being called home on several occas ions, it being thought that the end was near. She lay in a critical con dition during July but improved some later, but the change was only temporary. She had been in an un conscious condition a week before the end. Mrs. Ragsdale was one of the best known women of Harrison town ship. She was born and brought up within the confines of that town ship and with the exception of a few years when she and her husband lived in Washington and Hinora, al ways lived here. Mrs. Ragsdale was a resident of Washington in 1892 and 1893. She was of a lovable and kind disposition and had many friends. Mrs. Ragsdale was the daughter at Talcott Chappell, a pioneer of Da Viess county, and was born in Bar rison township April 19, 1845. She married Mr. Ragsdale February 22, 1886. Mrs. Ragsdale had been a member of the Methodist church forty years. Funeral services were held at Ebenezer church Thursday at 11 o’clock.
