Howard of the company's news stand in the Sunset depot here had a general house cleaning to day and will return to St. Louis for destruction all objectionabl, literature of the Jesse James Dare Devil Dick style. No more ol the cheap detective stories and yellow backs'* will be sold by this company.The order applies to all the depot and news stands controlled by this company, which includes the Sunset lines in Texas and Louisiana. The company issued this order because it believed the circulation ol the blood and thunder tales was the cause of much crime.Not only arc the penny detec-tivs stories barred, but the drummers can no longer purchase those racy stories published by the Town Topics publishing Company.
