Sunday morning, the 26th of September. Rapid City experienced a break in at JK’s Family Restau rant. Entry was forced but no other damage to the structure was apparent. Stolen were roughly $100 worth of cigarettes and an undetermined amount of cash. The suspects then pro ceeded down the street to Haslen’s Hardware but were unable to take any thing. Not knowing the owner sleeps in the back, they awoke her while at tempting to break in Having hearing someone trying to break in to her business, she telephoned the Minnedosa RCMP to notify them. Sgt. Commons of the Minnedosa RCMP said they were delayed in getting to the scene as they were busy with other po lice matters.
