OBITUARY OF MRS. W. W. BLANCHARDAfter hovering for a couple of weeks near death’s door, on last Saturday, at 7 p. m., the portals opened and the spirit of Mrs. W. VV. Blanchard passed through and on to her eternal home. Everything that loving hearts and willing hands could do, was done to make her comfortable, but the best of care and medical skill could not save her life. Lying for days in a semi-conscious state, caused from an abscess or growth on the brain, she roused occassionally and at such times her first words were for her loved ones. She was a devoted mother, a loyal wife and daughter, true to her friends and the vacancy caused by her death will be felt not alone in the home but by a wide circle of friends as well. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of all in their sorrow. The P. E. 0. chapter of which she was a member attended the funeral in a body, and the Senior class of high school were there as a class in sympathy with their classmate, Neal Blanchard.
