WIFE CURSED HIM, SAYS THIS HUSBANDWhen called on In police court Thursday morning to explain why he slapped his wife, J. H. Ratteree, a white man, stated that Mrs. Ratteree applied to him a vile epithet and that this was more than he could stand.Recorder Hroylex Imposed a line of f 10.75, tUIv’IStaV the husband he ihould not have hit his wife even though she did curse him. Mrs. Ratterco was not In court. Policeman C. L. ('amp, the arresting officer, said he wm Informed Mrs. Ratteree was either knocked down or shoved out of a doorway. The fine was paid by Ratteree’s employer.
