Daring the day the people, from near yid ter, were here In increased numbers. It was estimated that on the preceding day ten thousand persons visited the exhibition, during the day and evening. Yesterday the receipts were greater than on Thursday.THK BENEFITS TO THE LITTLE POLKS.▲ prominent citizen, a night or two ago, after having passed through the long aisles of the main hall, stocked on either side with things ueefal— after having visited the Fine Art and Music Hall, with Its walls covered with things to please the eye and warm up the sonl, and at last looked In upon Power Hall, with Its wonders which mechanical invention and skill had brought together—with some warmth exclaimed that he had found no better school for bis children than this, and that hereafter when he earns his boys and girls should come with him. Perhaps he was mistaken in relation to this being the equal of all other educational means, but he oertainly sounded the right note when he said he should bring his children.Here the child is brought in contact with the results of almost nil vocations; ho Is taught, to some extent, to weigh their relative values and to determine the place they each occupy in the eoonomical field of life; helped to ecqnlre that Information and the Inspiration, too, which an insight into all pursuits must inevitably secure. Who may know bat an aspiration may be awakened that may lead tho young mind Into paths of renown or a chord touched that may send out notea that shall cheer mankind for agesT -THB SCHOOLS TO Bg ADMITTED AT HALF FBICB.It is, consequently, a matter of oongratntstton that the managers of the exposit ion have made arrangements by whleh the schools of the city are to be admitted on advantageous terms. It will meet with the approbation of all, and it is earasatly hoped that all the schools will avail themselves of the proffered benefits. Tickets for school children oen be. secured at ten cents' each, but the scholars mute be attended by a teacher.Bat paiwnts should not depend upon the schools. The little folks should be brought without regard to the schools, and all the advantages secured that are offered by this extraordinary occasion. Persons from the country, though they may be somewhat remote, should bring their boys and girls. They caa come directly to the Exposition Hall, spend the whole day if they so desire, and return in the evening or night trains.THB EXPOSITION IN FULL OPERATION.The exposition may now be said to be In full operation Some additions are making from day to day; changes In arrangement are occurring, and stragglers who have fallen out of the way In the march that has brought the enterprise and skill of the artisans of Cincinnati and other places to this splendid parade ground are coming in, taking their positions in the line. But these are comparatively small. Nothing will be gained by remaining longeraway. Things are fresh now. Everything!* bright and clean and new. The owners of property are at their poet and arc communicative—perhaps more so than they will be at the very close. It la, consequently, a good time to come to the exposition.MAKE YOUB VISITS IN THB DAYTIME.And just here it may be remarked that it is Sot well to postpone visits till night If It Is possible to Come during the dar. At night it Is brilliant, it Is true, but the halls are thronged. Some person Is In the way when uu want to move, or moving when you want to staA still. About the most Interesting things, the very ones you want to see, the crowd will be the del seat. Co some time, but go in the morning or afternoon, if you can; the earlier the bettor. Next to the early morning there is no better time to have a satif factory look than abont neon, when the people generally are at their dinners.
