William Wing, art officiating* Burial was in Calvary Cemetery at Ruthren with the Martin Funeral' Home in charge of arrangements.Mr. Laubenthal, who died Sept. 21 at the Palo Alto County Hospital following a lingering illness, was born April 3, 1899 at Rodman, the son of Nicholas and Lucy Schumacker Laubenthal. He was united in marriage to Mary Sehult* at St. Thomas Church in SSwmetwburg on Aug. 27, 1923.He was a lifetime resident of Palo Alto County and; was engaged in farming near Ruthven.Survivors include his wife, Mary; one son, Robert of Dickens} two daughters, Mrs. Stewart .(Carol) Smith, San Antonio, Tex.; Mrs. Mary Deidrich of Ruthven; and 13 grandchildren; also on® brother and 7 sisters. Pallbearers were all nephews of Mr. Laubenthal, During his long residence in the county Mr. Laubenthal made many friends who will remember him as a good neighbor, always willing to help others., ’THANK YOU - Our grateful thanks to all who ex-tended comforting sympathy and help in our resent sorrow.
