Mary Callahan, 72, Given First Aid by Doctor Mary Callahan, 72, of 1222 Locust street, was slightly injured Monday afternoon in a traffic accident at Eighth avenue and Main street. Renand McIntosh, 232014 Prince street, driver of the automobile, was booked by police on a charge of failing to yield the right of way to a pedestrian on a crosswalk, but was discharged in police court Tuesday morning. McIntosh took the injured wom an to a physician's office where an examination revealed her right foot had been bruised. Three cars were involved in an other traffic mishap which oc curred at the intersection of Fre mont and Grandview at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. Police said that A. H. Arensdorf, Lamont, Jr., had stopped his car for a traf fic light which was struck in the rear by a taxicab driven by Homer D. Apel, 120614 White street. A third car driven by Gerald J. Ramm, Farley, Ir., crashed into the rear of Apels’ machine. Dam age was estimated at $200. Apel and Ramm were booked on speeding charges. They failed to appear in police court Tuesday and forfeited bonds of $10 each. In a third accident, cars driven by Clarence Bowen, 617 Arlington street, and Oscar A. Julian, Hazel Green, Wis., collided in front of 923 Main street. Damage was slight and no one was hurt.
